Dr. Nichole Szembrot received her Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University in August 2014. She is currently the Administrator for the Cornell Research Data Center. Her research interests include labor economics, public economics, behavioral economics, and economics of politics.

A few of Nichole’s publications include Experimental Study of Cursed Equilibrium in a Signaling Game, Are Voters Cursed When Politicians Conceal Policy Preferences?, Beyond Happiness and Satisfaction: Toward Well-Being Indices Based on Stated Preference, and Aggregating Local Preferences to Guide Marginal Policy Adjustments. Awards earned include the Center for Teaching and Learning Fellow from Trinity College, the Sage Fellowship from Cornell University, and the Trustee Scholarship from Boston University.
